Select a raw .lyra file and hit play. All decoding happens in your browser, on-device. Optionally, you can download a raw .wav file that reflects the decoded Lyra audio quality for reference.
Format
Decodes raw .lyra files, with:
1 audio channel (mono)
16 KHz sample rate
20 ms frame size
3.2 Kbps CBR
Files no more than 600 seconds long*
*10-minute decode cap.
Lyra uses a machine learning (neural) codec locally in your browser, and decoding is computationally intensive for long files. This is a cap set for this web player, not a limitation of the Lyra codec.

About Lyra
Ultra-low-bitrate speech has existed for decades, but fidelity at ultra-low bitrates hasn't.
Lyra is a neural speech codec that uses machine learning models to deliver higher perceived speech quality at very low bitrates.
